    The Columbian Exchange was the widespread transfer of plants, animals, culture, human populations, technology, diseases, and ideas between the Americas, West Africa, and the Old World in the 15th and 16th century. Christopher Columbus explored the New Land helping everyone in the present day.

    Atlantic Slave Trade
    Involved the transportation of slave traders of enslaved African people mainly to America. The slave trade used the triangular trade route to transport goods.
  • Panama Canal

    Panama Canal
    The Panama Canal was used for trade between the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean. It enabled shippers to cheaply transport different types of goods within a short period of time.
  • Invention of Airplanes

    Invention of Airplanes
    They were invented by the Wright Brothers. That allowed people to transport goods to the other side of the world in less than a day. This helped the connection between different countries and strengthen them. It also made them much closer and stronger.

    The invention of the Internet helped not only military purposes but extended the communication from country to country. This changed the world economically and politicly because now we are all connected by the internet. We also have more freedom with more things because of the internet.
