The Spanish edition of VOGUE interviewed Gigi Hadid while she was on Holidays on Ibiza.

Question: Gigi:" I guess it is not easy to manage the business part of your career, especially when you are 21. Actually, are you even aware of how much you make a week?"
Answer (according to Vogue Spain): "We have this expression, Bella [Hadid] and I: we don't wake up for less than €20,000 a day". -

2) Julian Casablancas is a major shareholder of Elite Model Management, and international company founded by his father (passed away recently)
3) Julian sent a copy of the interview to the General Manager of "Elite"
4) The General Manager started and internal investigation to assess the prices charged by a number of supermodels. -
A group of models offered always a fixed fee of 20.000 euro a day to "Elite" for the promotions of Haute Couture brands in any event that took place in Europe (Spain included). Those model named:
Gigi Hadid
Bella Hadid
Karle Kloss
Kendall Jenner Such fixed fees were in some cases reduced in the context of individual negotiations with each agent. -
Julian Casablancas, advised by his lawyers decided to start preliminary proceedings before the Commercial Court of Madrid in order to recover the damages caused by Gigi Hadid in light go the infringement of the art. 1 of the Spanish Law on Defense of Competition (LDC) and Art. 101 of the TFEU.

Upon being notified Gigi decided to cooperate with the leniency program of the CNMC.

After considering the leniency application, on 7 September 2017, the CNMC decides to carry out a number of dawn raids in the villa that Gigi and Bella Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Kendall Jenner share in Ibiza. According to press clips, valuable information has been found by CNMC officials during the dawn raids.

In this context, on 17 September the CNMC announces that it will open disciplinary proceedings against Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Karlie Kloss. It also grants Gigi Hadid with immunity from the fine that may be imposed to her under the leniency program. This is conditional on Gigi's full cooperation with the CNMC in the course of the proceedings.

In these circumsntaces, the Commercial Court of Madrid requests the intervention of the CNMC and the General Advocate Jaaskinen as amicus curiae of the court for the oral hearing
