The Holocaust was a genocide of the Jewish people by the Germans. The Germans would take over other countries and find the Jewish people and send them to concentration camps and kill them. The holocaust was from 1941-1945 and there was around 6 million Jewish people killed, which is 2/3 of their population. -

The Battle of Moscow was fought between the Germans and the Soviets. It was fought from September 1941 to April 1945. The German soldier invaded Moscow in hopes of taking it over but the Soviets ended up winning the battle. -

Battle of Stalingrad
The Battle of Stalingrad was one of the most important battles during World War 2. It started on July 17 1942 and ended on February 2 1943. The German soldiers attacked the U.S.S.R in the city of Stalingrad. The Germans lost the battle and it turned the tide of the war. There was around 850,000 found dead after battle. -
Battle of Berlin
The Battle of Berlin was the last stand for the Germans in World War 2. The battle started on April 16 1944 and ended May 2 1945. The Germans tried to fight back against the Soviets but they were no match against them. There was around 450,000 deaths for the Germans including around 125,000 civilians killed during this battle -
D-Day Battle
The Battle of Normandy also known as D-Day was a major battle between the Americans and the Germans. It started on June 6th when the Allies landed on the beaches of the coast of France and ended in August of 1944. The Germans lost this the battle and it is known as the beginning of the end of the Germans. There were around 9,000 casualties for the Germans but around 200,000 that were captured -

Hitler commited suicide on April 30 1945 by gunshot. He did not want to lose the war and killed himself before they lost -
