    Congress granted president bush the determination to launch any military attack in Iraq. The US joined the UK, Australia, and Poland which helped launch a "shock and awe" bombing campaign. The war caused oil prices to increase by approximately $274 billion. The US gross debt was over 120% of GDP and tax revenue increased by over 20%.
