Awesome Games Done Quick
Speed Demos Archive changed the named from "Classic Games Done Quick" to "Awesome games Done Quick," they moved to National 4-H Center, Chevy Chase, Maryland, and the stared Donating to the Prevent Cancer Foundation and raised $52,519.83 -
Japan Relief Done Quick
A charity marathon was held in order to raise awareness and funds to help those affected by the Japan Earthquake.
The streams were broadcasted from the respective runners homes. They earned ~$26,000

Summer games Done Quick
This was the first annual speedrunning event in summer and was held in somebody's house at West Bountiful, Utah. They raised ~$21,000 for the Organization for Autism Research. (FYI "Awesome Games Done Quick" and "Summer Games Done Quick" are both done annually, AGDQ is near the middle of Winter and SGDQ is usually in the middle of summer -
AGDQ 2014
Held between January 5-11 at Crowne Plaza Dulles, Herndon, Virginia earning $1,031,665.50 for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
This was the first GDQ event to earn over $1 million. -

God of War Done Quick
In celebration of the 10 year anniversary of the God of War franchise, God of War 1, 2, 3, Ascension, Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta speedruns were all broadcasted from Sony Santa Monica Studio and raised ~$3,500 for AbleGamers Foundation. SGDQ 2015
Held between July 26 and August 2 at Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront, Saint Paul, Minnesota and raised $1,233,844.10 for Doctors Without Borders.
This was the first SGDQ event to raise over $1 million. -
This year's AGDQ 2017
This year's AGDQ was held at Hilton Washington Dulles, Herndon, Virginia. It started on January 8 and ended on the 15th. $2,221,880.46 was raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, it was the first event to earn over $2 million and the first to earn $1 million in the first day. -
This year's SGDQ 2017
This year's SGDQ will be held at Minneapolis Marriott City Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, through July 2-9. They will be donating to Doctors Without Borders.
