Construcation of a seawall was planned
The galveston sea wall was planned so any hurricanes that would some would not do as much damge as hurricane issac. They also planned to raise the elevation of the island. -
States and other countries finish donating money
After donations the money totaled over 1.3 million dollars, only a fraction of what damage repairs would cost. There are still watermarks from this hurricane today. -
