Mr. Rick Peach discoverd Fruity Island on a rainy day in September. Not much longer, Mr. Peach became the new Mr. Tropical for the first leader of Fruity Island. He held the title for four years and then retired. During his term, He and the Fruit Congress worked hard to come up with the Orange Rights.

The first fruit festival was designed as a get together for all of the citizens of Fruity Island. The Fruit Festival provided a meeting place for all the citizens to discuss any joys and concerns one may have regarding the out look of the country. The citizens are encouraged to express their thoughts to the country's representatives at this time.

In August 21, 1989 the biggest watermelon was grown. It was 2 feet tall, 3 feet long, 3 feet wide, and weighed around 200 pounds. The fruit farmer that owned the watermelon was named Phil Melon. Phil Melon also is the proud winner of the biggest melon award.

The fruit drought was a major disaster in Fruity Island. The lack of rain caused the farmers much stress. The farmers could not grow a lot of popular fruits with out the fresh rain. The drought lasted for one month. Thankfully, at the end of the month, a huge rain storm hit Fruity Island and the farmers were able to get back to work.

The Peach Ball War was a dispute over the land and ocean territories next to Fruity Island. Fruity Island needed the land and the ocean water to grow the various fruits on the island.

Fruity Island wins a huge victory in the Peach Ball War. The lands and the Ocean being fought over, were declared the property of Fruity Island. Fruity Island graciously allows all people, from all lands, to use the land and ocean surrounding Fruity Island for good for all who needs it.

On December 27, 2010 the first female was elected as leader for Fruity Island. Madam Tropical is the current leader and is doing a wonderful job.

The fruit fast flood was very unexpected In Fruity Island. The flood was very powerfull and lasted a week. After the flood most of the plants and fruits were destroyed and many homes needed repairs. It took months to clean up all the debris.
