    After the Acadians sign an oath of neutrality, British Governor Lawrence demands that they sign an oath of allegiance. They refuse and are deported.

  • Battle of the Plains of Abraham

    The British gamble and plan to attack on an abandoned field between two French armies. The battle is 15 minutes long and the British win.

  • Treaty of Paris

    The Treat of Paris ends the Seven Years' War. It declares New France as British territory. Canada is now under British control.
