  • George Washington creating Ft. Necessity

    George Washington creating Ft. Necessity
    George Washington Built Ft. Necessity so that he could fend off the French army. Washington discovered a spy, so he decided to attack first against the French. Over time, George wasn't able to protect the Ft. ending up surrendering to the French. The British weren't giving up though and they started a war but the War lasted seven years and they called this war "The Seven Years War".

    Native Americans abandoned the British
    The Native Americans abandoned the British because the British made to many promises they couldn't keep in order to get allies to attack the British. They promised them Protection, and fair trade with them. But, since the British couldn't keep their end of the deal, the Native Americans allied with the French against the British.
  • Battle of Ft. Oswego

    Battle of Ft. Oswego
    It all started when a Indian mistook one of the French soldiers as a British and shot him until he died. After this the French promised themselves nothing like this was going to happen so, they took a lot of cannons to Ft. Oswego and started to blow it up. At this time, many British tried to fight back, but they were outnumbered and were captured by the French, Most of them were taken prisoner, but when they tried to escape, they were slaughtered by the Indians.

    Two large colonies that were owned by France and Great Britain both planned on expanding their colonies. But Native Americans got in their way because the two colonies were hoping to expand towards the Indians land. Because of this event, the French and Indian War came into play. When it began, the French allied with the Indians. At first, William was losing a lot of battles, though under William's leadership, they were winning and soon were able to capture the French's forces and the Indians.

    The British started to build the fort after the British and the French battled at the top of Lake Georgia. The French ended up allies with the Indians and they started to attack the British in 1757 but they surrendered on August 10, 1757. Even though the British surrendered to the French, the French didn't keep a close eye on them and the British escaped. But on the way back, most of the British were killed by the Indians and the rest were destroyed at the Fort when the French blew it up.

    In the Indian ocean, the British started to attack one of the French's Port's to take it over and take some slaves. A bunch of French reinforcements started to show up so the British started to surrender but it was part of their plan. After the French took them into slavery, a bunch of British reinforcements started to show up and took back the remaining British forces and took the French as slaves.
  • Battle of Ft. Frontenac

    William Shirley gained control of some of the British and made plans to take out Fort Frontenac which took place during The Seven Years War. But other disagreed and refused to sign the plans. Because of this, they replaced him with someone else because his plans didn't have enough support. But the man that they replaced Shirley with, didn't have much campaign experience like Shirley.
  • Battle of Ft. Duquesne

    The British were hoping to build a colony at the Ohio River but they found out the French were living there, When the French settlers came back and saw the British, they tor down their fort and the British built Fort Duquesne. But when the British got done building, the French refused to leave, so, war broke out. When Washington came back with some troops from Virginia, they started to attack and the French finally left.
  • Battle of Ft. Niagara

    Battle of Ft. Niagara
    Jeffery Amherst was taking control of the French's Forts one by one but he still needed to take control of the Western Forts. So he made a base below Lake Champlain. He started to go after Fort Niagara once the base was done. He couldn't do it alone, so he got Brigadier Prideaux. Before they could start to open fire on the fort, they had to build a battery which took a few days. Once they were done, they started to open fire but, Prideaux died to a cannon and the British one in the after math.
  • French Surrender

    French Surrender
    The French Surrendered to the British and they both signed a treaty after the Seven Years War. They both signed the treaty of Hubertusburg. Because of this, the French lost control of Canada and Spain got Louisiana. Once the French gave these states up, the British got control of them and put everything the way it was.
