    General Braddock had led troops to fight Fort Duquesne. General Braddock had to have organization. To keep in that formation was very risky. More than half of the British army was killed or wounded. General Braddock was killed, and the British retreated.

    The French surrender to the British at Fort Frontenac near Lake Ontario. This effects the French in a bad way. Now, the French will have a hard time trying to contact their troops in the Ohio River Valley.

    The British set up pulleys to raise canons at night. Then, the British raided the capital and won the battle. The British now wanted Canada. Having New France's capital the British slowly took charge and won the war.
