The people that were killed in the mob were not specific, so they just shot in the crowd killing random civilians. This was a heavily publicized as an unfair treatment towards the people.

    The boston tea party was a protest against british tax laws that violated citizens freedom, so the protest took place on british ships. A group of protesters disguised as Native Americans, boarded onto british tea ships and dumped them all out, to protest against the laws, by wasting british money.
