    Fort Necessity
    George Washington built Fort Necessity at the Great Meadows in May. He was waiting for additional militia to help concour the French. Washington was abducted by the French for his poor fort building. His fort was flooded and he lost all of his guns and artillery. This was the clash of the French and the British.
  • Albony Plan of Union

    Albony Plan of Union
    The Albony Congress approves of Benjamin Franklin's Plan to unite all of the colonies so that they will all be one. According to him without being united colonies we will die. This plan failed and the colonies are seperated once again.
  • British Eliminate the French

    British Eliminate the French
    The British aquire Edward Braddock as their general to go to Fort Duquesne. Braddock and 2,000 troops march to Fort Duquesne. Fort Duquesne was built in between three rivers and in the middle it stood. The British take over the fort and now control the three main rivers where guns and goods are ported.

    William Pitt becomes Foreign Minister
    William Pitt was elected as we call it Foreign Minister. The reason why is becuase the British thought that he understood the colonial concerns which was land and money. They used that as an advantage to use the colonials as troops to help fight the French.

    The French abduct the British fort, Fort William Henry. The British surrender because they know that they are beat. The French do not approve of this, "surrendering" and massacre all of the people that are in sight. 130 British men were either wounded or killed.
  • Louisbourg

    Louisbourg was the fortress in Nova Scotia, Canada. This was the route that opened Canada. Knowing this the British took over the French fortress and now had control to the fortress of Louisbourg

    After the new foreign prime minister, William Pitt was elected the Colonials thought that they would have a better chance of winning. They thought that the new prime minister knew exactly what they wanted and would reward them for being part of the militia with land and money. Their morale shot up intensely.

    The British make allies with three indian tribes to help them in the war. They now had the side of the Iriquous, Shawnee, and the Delaware Indians. This was a key time in the war becuase without these indians they would easily be outnumbered and wouldn't have learned so much about war strategies.
  • The Battle at Quebec

    General Wolfe led the British to victory agianst the French at Quebec. The Britishes plan was to capture Quebec so that they could control the route of goods and guns from the French. They wanted to do this because without weapons and other helpful objects then they cannot fight and if they cannot fight they lose the war.
  • Pontiac's Rebellion

    Pontiac's Rebellion
    500 Colonists from Pennsylvania fled to Fort Pitt after having the Native Americans attacking their small forts. The Natives were mad that their close friends the French had lost the war. In order to stop all of these outbreaks they had to start a war. The Native Americans lost and surrendered.

    The Treaty of Paris
    The Treaty of Paris was made to end the war. They had to end the war becuase the French didn't have control of the rivers and couldn't get supplies. Without supplies the French couldnt fight. The Treaty of Paris gave the British all of Canada, most of the land the french, and the last one is that they got dibbs on the Carribean Slave trade.
  • Proclimation Line of 1763

    Proclimation Line of 1763
    King George III signed the deal of the Proclimation Line. This line stated that no settlers could mark land behind the Proclimation Line. The line was located the west of the Alleghny Mountain.
