    This event is important because this is the day they built Fort Duquesne. Where Pittsburgh is today is where the French built a fort called Fort Duquesne. It took 32 days for Braddock's army to cover 110 miles of forest from Virginia to their fort.

    At Fort Necessity June 19th to July 11th the Albany Congress approves Ben Franklin's plans of the Union. This is important because the idea of union started. Franklin hoped that the colonies could form a colonial nation and to try to get the Iroquois as English allies.

    On August 3, 1757 in New York the French attacked Fort William Henry. This event is important because its when General Montclam and his French army captured Fort William Henry and the British surrendered, Also the Indian allies attacked the unarmed British because they were angry at them.

    General Jeffrey Amherst made plans to guard the mouth of the St. Lawrence. This is important because it means nobody could get in or out which means the French couldn't get to their supplies. After seven weeks the French starved, so Louisbourg surrended.

    During the battle of Quebec General Wolfe and Montcalm were killed. I think this event is important because they were both brilliant generals. Wolfe came up with a brilliant plan to climb the Heights of Abraham and Montcalm captured Fort William Henry in 1757.

    Both groups were confident for the battle of Quebec. This events important because it was the battle when General Wolfe and his English soldiers climbed a steep cliff near Quebec and surprised Montcalm and his army. The English won this battle.

    The Treaty of Paris is an important event because the French and Indian War finally ended. New France surrendered to the English in 1760. It took awhile to get everything settled but in France on Febuary 10,1763 the Treaty of Paris offically ened the war.
