The Love Movement (TLM) launched TLM's Food Recovery Network to recover food from Route 1 restaurants.
The Food Recovery Network was founded in September 2011 at the University of Maryland, College Park.
The APO Food Reocvery and Donation Project and the Love Movement Food Recovery Network merged to form the Food Recovery Network.
FRN started a chapter at Brown University.
Awards to grow
The Food Recovery Network won $750 in the Pitch Dingman competition to help fund its growth.
Over 30,000 meals donated.
The Food Recovery Network continues to spread to other universities and colleges and gain affiliate programs.
