  • Maltese Cross/Geneva Drive

    Oskar Messter Made the Maltese Cross, It was design for the stop and go mechanism, it was named Maltese Cross because of a medal that had the same shape. It was also called the Geneva Drive because it was first invented in Geneva, Switzerland for use in mechanical watches.
