The first film with sound was made in 1927. The film was called the jazz singer. And was almost 30 minutes long and only had a few sounds but it did have sounds. -

This guy was the first director to ever have a movie with sound. He won alot of awrds for this movie the Jazz Singer. -

Alfred Hitchcock is one of the best director that has every hit hollywood. His nickname is "The master of susspence" . He had movies spanning from the 1940's to the 1980's. One of his films is the famous "Pshyco" -

Films today.
Films today are way different from when they star. Our movies are no @ hours or more long and have multiple variables in them. From CGI, to 3D, to Imax. We can agree that film has changed a lot sense they started.
