Fashion In the 60's
Fashion in the sixties was primarily bright and vibrant colors and it evolved from the pastel and dim colors to more bright and popping colors. The choices of clothing for both men and women were tie-dye shirts, work shirts, Jesus sandals, and headbands. So fashion evolved from being less colorful and less expressive to being more vibrant and way more expressive. -
70's Fashion
Fashion In the seventies consisted of less vibrant versions of bright colors. Rather than the clothes being extremely loud they are more subtle but more on the hippy side of style.
The choices of clothing were bell bottom jeans, frayed jeans, maxi dresses, tie-dye, peasants blouses, and ponchos. The evolution from now from the 60's is that with the addition of more color and style there was more of a "funky" look now. -
80's Fashion
In the eighties clothing evolved to being bright once again and it added more articles of clothing. Clothes were primarily were spandex, velour, and Lycra. Also the choices of clothing were;

90's Fashion
In the nineties clothing trends were set by a lot of music artists and celebrities. Some of those influences were, Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Dr. Dre, Brad Pitt, Tupac, and more. Fashion evolved by there being less vibrant with colors but still colorful,and more expressive clothes. The choices of clothing consisted of;

Fashion in the 2000's
In the early 2000's fashion took another turn and from baggy harem joggers to baggy jeans, from windbreakers to graphic tees,and from plaid shirts to structured vests. The choices of fashion were;

Mid 2000's Fashion
The mid 2000's was an era of fashion breakouts. So around the years 2010-2019 fashion took a huge turn, many brands gained huge popularity like, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and street wear brands like "Off-White",Yeezy and more. Some clothing choices from the mid 2000's era were;

In 2021 there was a lot of nostalgia with the fashion trends. In 2021 there was a return in popularity in Crocs, y2k fashion, and there was also an increase in gender neutral clothing as well. Also the in this years fashion choice you can see inspiration from previous era's fashion. -
Fashion in 2022
In 2022 fashion was at a peak because there is a mixture of previous years of fashion. In 2022 there was a huge trend with street wear and brands like, Balenciaga and Off-White contributed to this aesthetic. The evolution of this years fashion shows that it somewhat reverted back to previous eras. -
Fashion in 2023
In 2023 so far it has been just like the last three years but just an improved look. for example the mixture of casual and street wear was big and still is a huge trend now. The biggest evolution of this years fashion is that the concept of neutral gender fashion has become even more common than in 2021. -

from the year 1950 all the way through 2023(present) there were many changes in fashion. There were also a lot of years that showed clear inspiration or even exact copies of the years before. The biggest thing with fashion is it all comes from somewhere which is why some years look almost identical in some aspects.
