  • Sinking of the Rainbow Warrior

    The Rainbow Warrior was bombed resulting in it sinking off the coast of New Zealand. The Rainbow Warrior was a Greenpeace protest ship.

    Chernobyl was a nuclear disaster that took place in Ukraine but affected people world wide. The totally death toll has not been calculated but is estimated to be over 40,000 world wide (this factors in secondary causes of death).
