this rifle was the first American semi auto rifle produced in large quantitys. This weapon fired the extremily uncommon .22 caliber winchester auto round. This weapon was very popular with the public but one of there complaints was that it was converted into the very popular .22 caliber long rifle, because most sport shop shops carried that specific round in major quantitys. -
B.A.R.
the browning automatic rifle or B.A.R. was constructed during the first world war (around 1918), but didn’t see too much action until the second world war. The B.A.R. was a select fire system meaning that it could shoot semiautomatic or fully automatic with the flip of a switch. the m4 carbine is a shorter version of the m16 family with some upgraded parts. One upgrade is a cloapsible butstock. This enables the operator to have a more comfortable fitting gun enabling them to have more accuracy because it is more comfortable. It was produced by colt around 1990. Also the m4 shoots the same cartridge that the m16 fires a 5.56 mm NATO.
