In 1940, Jose Maria Acevedo with 21 years of age bought by the sum of 90 pesos a small electrical repair shop in Medellín.By then, World War II generated difficulties arising in the supply of steel and other materials used by the military industry, which annulled the new product imports.This became an opportunity to extend the objective of the workshop to the industrial function.
