Setting
" Everything For a Dog " takes place in the small town of Lindenfeild. Storys one and three take place in populated areas in Lindenfeild. Story 2 takes place in the rural area (farms). The dates in this story range from late summer to early summer the next year. -
Characters
Story one: Bone is a stray dog. he has been in many familys before because of wandering. Squirrel was in the first part of the story. She was left at the mall. Story Two: Charlie is the main character in the second story. He was excited to start the summer but memories of his brother caused alot of drama. Story Three: Henry is the main character in story three. He really wants a dog. his only friend moved away and he wants a dog as a new friend. His parents always says no but he is deturmined -
Rising Action 1
A dog named Stream gave birth to 5 puppys. Only 2 survived and they were named Bone and Squirrel. They spent their days in a shed that their mom picked out while she was pregnant. -
Backround
Story One: Bone is a dog. He was born a stray along with his sister, Squirrel. They both spent a few weeks in a shed on the property of the Merrions.
Story Two: Charlie and his family live on a farm in a town called Lindenfeild. He just lost his brother , RJ, and his dog is helping heal the pain. This is 20 years Story Three: Henry Is another Young boy and he has always wanted a dog. Everytime he asked for a dog, he got a different pet instead. He will do anything and everything to get a dog. -
Rising Action 2
The puppys open their eyes after 11 days in darkness. they become aware that they are not alone. There is a combination of animals in the shed from cats to birds. Stream teaches the pups how to dig for food. They also met one of the children of the owners of the property. He was very nice. Stream leaves the pups and the boy takes care of them. -
Rising Action 5 Continued
2 women find the pups and figure out what they are going to do with the dogs. The pregnant woman, Isabel, decides to take Bone and leave Squirrel at the mall so somebody else could find her. Isabel and her husband Thad take Bone to the vet because he had a bloody nose. They made him their pet. -
Rising Action 5
Bone and Squirrel were picked up on the side of the road. The People who took them didn't know the first thing about taking care of the dogs. They would do something mean and bad to the dogs if they did something bad. the reason why is because the new owners of Bone and Squrrel didn't take care of them right. One day, Bone bit the wife and the husband had enough. He drove to the mall and threw the dogs out of the pickup truck.Because they were at the mall, people saw what happened and ... -

Henry's parents say no to the idea of having a dog. Again. -
Rising Action 3
Winter is comming and Henry is reading over his Christmas list he made 2 years ago. He opens his window and sees his best friend's house. His Friend moved away the afternoon before. He reads the christmas and has a new idea. He crosses out all of the things on his Christmas list except for numbers 4, 7, and 9. He wants a dog. -
Falling Action 4
It is Christmas time For Henry And he is visiting some family. When the question is asked about what he put on his christmas list, He says he wanted a dog. All eyes were turned to Henry's da because he had to tell the story about Sunny. This means that Henry's dad is Charlie. This is is why Henry Can't have a dog. This also marks the end of Charlie's part of the story. -
Resolution 1
Christmas and New Years has passed and school started. Buddy Comes by Henry's house more often and eats treats once a day. Henry and his friends decide to finish training him. They Build a shelter for him but one day, he became missing. They did everything they could to find him. Later, Henry spilled the beans about the whole situation. Mr.Elliot decides to help. -
Falling Action
Bone AKA Simon, Runs away. Bone started living with Isabel's father. He moved away to a different home for a while and Bone had to stay in the empty appartment and the neibhor is walking him and feeding him everyday. One day, The neibhor left the door open and Bone ran out. It was in the winter so it was cold. He started roaming and looking for food. -
Falling action 2
Henry wwill do anything for a dog and a friend at this point. One day, He came accros a dog. It was tan like bone. Actually, it was him. He doesn't know it at this point in time. He made a training schedule. this was made so his parents will be impressed with Bone. He wants bone to be named Buddy. -
Resolution 2
Now,the text refers to Mr.Elliot As Charlie. They Found Buddy. He Was in a hunter's trap like the ones that charlie disabled when he was a child. Now comes chapter 19 when bone starts talking about how much pain he has been in in his lifetime. At the vet, he gets help and feels better.
