    Europe gives both Czechoslovakia and Austria to Germany without war because they are done with war.

    When Hitler was elected into power he promised to retun the homeland to its former glory.

    While the US was building domestic life and Europe is rebuilding its infrastructure, Germany led by Hitler is building up its military rapidly.

    He violated the treated by secretly building up his army and many nations were letting him get away with it.
  • The Holocost

    The leaders met up and decide how to effectively and humanely get rid of Jews and make money off it. They soon recigonized they needed death camps.
  • Blitz Krieg

    Hitler uses this tactic, also known as the lightning war, which was a quick military movement that was unexpected. The movement knocked out Central Europe in 9 months.

    Dual between the Royal air force (Britian) and the Luftwaffe (Germany) where they battled in the air and caused much damage to Britian.

    The Tripartite Pact provided mutal assistance should any of the signaturies suffer attack by any nation not already involved in war. This was aimed at America(trying to get them to think before going on the side of the Allies)

    Hitler takes Anti-Semitism to a whole new level. It used to be that Jews or those who claimed to have one God would be shunned, but he has a hatred for a race of people.

The second was the lend lease where the countires could rent weapons and eventually pay them off with the rent money.

    Operation Castigo was with 24 divions and 1,200 tanks that went into Greece. The attack was swift but brutal, killing 17,000 civilians.

    Soviet Union fired massive barrage of some million artillery shells, one of the largest in histrory, onto the German position west of the oder.

    Hitler commits suicide because he is warned that he has a day until his chancellery would be taken over- the Germans Surrendered
  • Japan surrenders

    US drops nuclear bombs on Japan so Japan surrenders as well.

    Symbolized the ideological conflict and physical boundary dividing Europe into 2 different areas.
