The type of people who might be interested in watching our film would mainly be young adults aged 18-25 interested in violence and the principle of drug use. The broader, "one-off" audience may be adults in their 40's who are looking for an exciting narrative to remind them of their youth. However mainly an audience of older teenagers to young adults, who find such topics either enjoyable or interesting to watch in a film. -

As our film is independent, we have many promising actors who are able to demonstrate their raw talent on screen. This is a unique attraction to our film which can attract famous Directors who can promote their up-and-coming career. I would rate my film an '18' because it consists of harsh violence, drug use and some scenes that may be disturbing to some viewers. -

Our target audience is young adults/teenagers aged 18-25. The narrative is fairly simple with a few twists and turns so it isn't too hard to follow therefore there isn't too much of a limit to our potential audience. However, I think this film would appeal to more of a male audience, in relation to thriller , as there are many characters who are male and it involves lots of violence which the male audience might find exciting/interesting and could possibly relate to. -

? On the other hand, it would be most likely interpreted to be seen by men, as the stated topics are more associated within men, or they would generally find it more exciting/ interesting. Whereas stereotypically a woman might find romantic comedies more exciting/interesting. -

The narrative follows a teenage lad who is easily relatable to certain groups of men in his age group. Although the majority of our audience is male, there may also be a smaller portion of female viewers who may enjoy watching this film if they are interested in the same sort of thing. Perhaps they may watch it with their boyfriend or husband? -

Mentioned previously, this film mainly appeals to 18-25 year olds and there is not a whole lot of elements for the older generation to relate to, mainly topics of youth, hooded street gangs, violence and drug use. Having said that, the narrative is very similar to the film 'Scarface’, having their films basis upon the transformation of a character from honest to evil, from being involved in violence and drug use. -

This film attracted their audience by using big stars and dramatic acting tied in with an anticipating storyline so the audience was thrilled throughout the entire film. Apart from the big stars, we tried to incorporate many elements from ‘Scarface’ into our film. Many older viewers can connect with our film in that sense and if this audience widens to an older age group then box office takings may increase. -

We could have connected other elements from other films in this genre with the intension of attracting more viewers. This would have only been done if we specifically wanted a larger genre basis of our film, as we enjoy having it as an independent film and we wanted to be somewhat individual and not completely steal or plagorise from other films.
