The day that Germany decided to invade the soviet, it was the largest land invasion in history. Where they go and invade the land while capturing thousands of prisoners. France and Poland had been broken in only a few weeks. Germany hoped to break and get to Russia before the winter, but Russia was a very big land and it was very cold because of the winter. Germany was exhausted, they could not invade it completely. Germany had begun to retreat after that event.

The Allied forces had decided to send troops to get the Axis power out of Africa and France Morocco, which the USA had sent its first troops in European War. They had successfully pushed the axis power out. Roosevelt had decided with others to go after Germany. The air forces had sent hundreds and thousands of bombers into England preparing against Germany. Germany had advanced technology that was able to shoot the bombers down but that helped the bombers find their targets even easier.
