  • EIA

An Environmental Impact Assigment, or EIA, is a type of report born in 1969 in the US. It takes place before a development project changing the use of land occurs, some examples of that being the creation of major road networks, airport and port developments, and quarrying. It in fact analyses how the abiotic environment and biotic community change following a development scheme. Even though there is no set way of conducting EIAs, there are three main tasks: scoping, mitigation, and prediction.
  • Montreal Protocol

The Montreal Protocol was an international agreement to phase out the production of ozone-depleting substances.
