Riley (age 2) started potty training because he was ready to be a "big boy." Once Riley gained this independence to go potty anytime he had accidents he got very upset with himself. -
Riley (age 3) has started preschool and when he is unable to initiate a task the teacher has asked him to, he starts to feel guilt for not knowing how to do certain task. -
Riley (age 10) did a project at school that he thought was really good, but when the teacher did not tell him what a good job he did he started having an inferior complex and felt like he was not doing enough.
