    First ebola outbreak in Sudan and Zarie, Africa. 318 people infected. 280 people died out of the 318. Disease was spread by close personal contact and by use of contaminated needles and syringes in hospitals/clinics. Found by Dc. Peter Pilot, and is the first known outbreak of the desiease.

    Secon out break started in Nzara, Maridi. 284 people were infected. Out of the 284 people 151 people died. Desiease was spread through close contact within hospitals.

    In a England reaserch senter a sientist was accidently stuck with one of the needles that contained Ebola vires. The man survived from eairly treatment.

    There was a outbreak of the Reston virus in a Philippines labortory. There was a high mortality rate among cynomolgus macaques in a primate facility. Three workers developed antibodies but did not get sick
  • Ebolas back in the USA

    Ebola virus was introduced once again into quarantine facilities in Virginia, and Texas by imported monkeys. Four people infected but they were asymptomatic, or showed no symtems.

    This out break was located in Kikwit and the surrounding area. 315 people were infected, and 250 of the infected died. Spread through famillies and hospitals

    This outbreak started in the Mayibout area. There were 37 cases and 27 of them died. It was caused by a dead chimpanzee found in the forest that was eaten by people hunting for food. Nineteen people who butchered the animal became ill. Rest were familly that came into contact with infected.

    A medical professional traveled from Gabon to Johannesburg, South Africa. while treating ebola infected patients he was exposed to the virus. He was hospitalized, and one of his nurses became infected and died.

    This outbreak started in Gulu, Masindi, and Mbarara districts of Uganda. The three most important ways of spreeding was attending funerals of infected, having contact with one's family, and providing medical care to patients without using good personal protective measures. 425 people were infect and 224 died.
