Francisco Raluy, originally from Fonz (Huesca), was a young and adventurous man. He had learned to play some juggling games and with a goat and a bear he travelled through small villages, earning a living. There was no tent, no circus and there were no caravans. -
The expansion of Raluy circus
With the savings and after many sacrifices, the Raluy see how the wind caresses their first tent under the Portuguese sky. The family buys the material of the modest Circus Paris - a name that could not be detached from due to absurd registration rules - with which we have some posters that proclaim on the walls. -
Raluy circus in television
In those days, a time of "transition", it begins to be common in Spanish circuses to present television characters. The Clowns of the TV triumph among children and the world of the circus, in Spain, a slow decline begins. -
The sons of the original Raluy
Carlos and Luis sons of Francisco begin one of the many "turns" through the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean: Reunion Island, Guyana, María Galante, Sant Barthelemy, Guadaloupe, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Barbados, Puerto Rico and Costa Rica. -
The award of the Raluy circus
At the end of 1996, the Raluy Museum Circus receives the National Circus Award, triumphs in Madrid's critics, participates as a guest show in the prestigious Almagro Classical Theatre Festival, makes a successful tour of Catalonia and performs in the heart of Malaga within the framework of the International Theatre Festival. -

The brothers go to the circus again
In 2019, Rosa Raluy, takes a new show on tour in Catalonia under the new tent of Teatro Circo Rosa Raluy. The show called Vekante (Word of the Esperanto language) reveals itself to be totally innovative within the framework of the productions of the Raluy, managing to bring brushstrokes of contemporary circus to classical aesthetics.
