  • Hop On Pop

    Hop On Pop
Hop on pop was one of my favorite books when I was little. It was so silly and easy to read, I'm pretty sure my parents hid it from me at one point because that was the only book I would read
  • If You Give A Moose A Muffin

If You Give A Moose A Muffin
My family had a fascination with Moose and other large animals. We would travel to Yellowstone every summer to see the Moose and Buffalo. When my mom saw this book she instantly bought it for me and I fell in love with it.
  • Chrysanthemum

    Chrysanthemum
A teacher of mine had this book in her library, I remember reading it but skipping the little (mouse) girl's name every single time because I did not know how to say it. One day, my teacher finally read the book to the class and i finally knew how to say her name.
  • The Tale of Desperaux

    The Tale of Desperaux
Another book with another name I had no idea how to say. For all of 3rd grade, I was determined to read this book. It took forever, it was a pretty large book for little 3rd grade me but I did it. I went on to read it 3-5 more times after that. The movie wasn't as good as the book but it was decently close :)
  • Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
My mom absolutely loved the Harry Potter movies, when I learned there was a whole book series to accompany them I set off to read them all. These were amazing books and I plan to reread them all in the near future.
  • The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
When I was in the 6th grade my teacher did a few lessons on the Holocaust and the tragedies that occurred during that time. After that, I decided to read the boy in striped pajamas to read a slightly fictional take on the events that happened.
  • The Lightning Thief

    The Lightning Thief
I absolutely loved this book. It was a pretty quick read for when I was 14 but I still really enjoyed it. I was never able to finish the series because I miss placed the second book. The movie was such a letdown.
  • The Uglies

    The Uglies
I found this book in my sister's bookshelf and decided to read it. I'm really happy I did. It was such a good book and has changed my perception on perfection and what they could possibly mean in the future.
  • The Fault in Our Stars

    The Fault in Our Stars
This book was very popular when I was in high school. I borrowed it from a friend a while after it had come out. It was pretty good, I wasn't as crazy about it as most people were.
  • Look Me in the Eye

    Look Me in the Eye
I read this book for my final book report of my senior year. We were given a list of books to choose from and I really resonated with this one. I have always wanted to work with children with special needs and especially students with autism.
