The attack of pearl harbor was a surprise attack from about 353 Japanese fighter pilots, this is the reason the US joined World War 2. This destroyed multiple ships and aircraft boosting the amount of jobs needed to produce them again. -

One of the most impactful wars in US history, pulled the US out of its depression. This made more jobs available to the US citizens. -

With the increased need of military resources a lot of industries began producing resources the military was needing. -

For 12 consecutive years there was more than 4,000,000 people unemployed even with the smaller population the US had then compared to now. -

Because of the war the US has placed trade restrictions on certain countries therefore the US had to began making products that they didn't make before. This therefore made new jobs available to the people. -
Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima
The US dropped a uranium gun-type (Little Boy) bomb on Hiroshima calling for a Japan surrender that they didn't get. This is the closing point on the world causing the Japanese to surrender pulling the US out of the depression it was in. -
Atomic Bombing of Nagasaki
Three days after the Hiroshima bombing the US dropped a plutonium implosion-type (Fat Man) bomb on Nagasaki. When the war ended there were more jobs for the people to have increasing money in the economy pulling the US out of its depression. -
Phillippines become Independent
After 48 years the Philippines become an independent country escaping US control. This made an impact on the trade that the two countries did. This also caused the US to have to do international trade to get the same resources it had before the left. -
Jackie Robinson
He became the first African-American major league baseball player. Therefore attracting new fans and sparking more interest towards the MLB. With the greater interest the fans are willing to spend more money to watch the games.
