Disneyland made it's grand opening during the 50's.There was 28,154 people on opening day.On opening day Disneyland offered 18 attractions to visit.Rides that debuted that you can still see include Main Street Cinema, Disneyland Railroad, Autopia, King Author Carrousel, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Peter Pan's Flight, Mad Tea Party, Snow White's Scary Adventures (now known as Snow White's Enchanted Wish,) Casey Jr. Circus Train, Storybook Land Canal Boats, and The Jungle Cruise.Tickets were only 3.50. -
Just 4 years after the grand opening, two of Disneyland's most famous rides were debuted in the late 50's. The Matterhorn Bobselds debuted at Disneyland as their first rollercoaster ride. The Monorails were Disneyland's first transportation attraction. -

Great Moments with Mr Lincoln was originally seen at New York's world fair but made it's debut in Disneyland in the 60's. This attraction was changed many times since it's opening date. Originally this attraction was a tribute to Presidents but changed shortly after to the story of Walt Disney. Fans not being happy about the change led to the attraction becoming Walt Disney's story narrated by President Lincoln. Now, the attraction is the history of Disneyland and presidents. -
It's A Small World is one of Disneyland's most famous rides. It's A Small World was originally seen at the New York World Fair. After being seen in the fair, Walt Disney purchased it, in support of the United Nations Children's Fund. -
Pirates of the Caribbean mades it's debut in the late 60's. On opening day, Pirates of the Caribbean was one of Disneyland's attractions that raised them the most money. The ride full of technology and beautiful scenes created a want for people to go see it. On opening day this attraction featured pirates, fights, and fires. Now, we see scenes from the movie franchise "Pirates of the Caribbean," such as Captain Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones, and Captain Barbossa. -
The Haunted Mansion has been scaring guests for about 50 years. The Haunted Mansion debuted with 999 ghosts but there is always room for 1 more! -
The Main Street Electrical Parade was Disneyland's first ever parade. It featured bright lights and scenes from you're favorite Disney movies! The parade was later replaced by Spectromagic, another parade that was very similar to the Main Street Electrical Parade. Main Street Electrical Parade returned in January 2017 but closed again in August 2019.

Space Mountain was Disneyland's fastest rollercoaster at the time reaching speeds of 35mph. Space Mountain originally opened in 1975 but had to go back to redoing the ride since there was many errors. -
Splash Mountain was Disneyland's first water-rollercoaster. Splash Mountain can reach speeds up to 40mph. Many Disney fans enjoyed Splash Mountain because of the music, scenes, and drops. Now, Splash Mountain still stands but it is thought to change to The Princess and the Frog themed in around 5 years. -
Mickey's Toon Town was created for younger children to meet their favorite characters. The land opened with one ride, Roger Rabbit's Car-toon spin. However, Mickey's Toon Town was not as popular as Disneyland creators thought it would be. -
Indiana Jones' Adventure opened to the public on March 4, 1995. On March 3, 1995 the attraction was opened to celebrity invitations only. The Indiana Jones' Adventure ride is based on the Indiana Jones' film series. The attraction features high turbulent speed. -
Disney Parks opened their second Disney park in California in early 2000's. Not many attractions opened when DCA opened but many were seen years to come. Some attractions that did appear were Bug's Land and California Screamin'. -
California Screamin' was Disney California Adventures most popular ride. It closed to do remodeling to be more modern. The same track was used during this remodeling. During this remodeling, Paradise Pier also changed to Pixar Pier.

Tower of Terror has been a fan favorite at Disney California Adventure for many years. It's considered a classic Disney ride to this day. Disney however did remodel this ride to Guardians of the Galaxy themed, to fit their later upcoming project, Avenger's Campus.

Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue was added to Disney California Adventure in 2006. The ride features animatronics from the movie Monsters, Inc. The ride is full of bright colors and amazing scenes for children to adults. Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue is my favorite Disney California Adventure ride! -
World of Color was Disney California Adventure's first major night time show for guests. The show includes amazing colored water at the lake. -
Cars Land, based on the movie franchise Cars was built to entertain families of all ages. Three new attractions were built, 2 children rides and 1 rollercoaster. -
Guardian's of the galaxy:Mission Breakout used the exact same ride as Tower of Terror but changed the theme to fit Guardian's of the Galaxy. The tower being 130 feet tall and reaches speeds of 39mph makes the ride even scarier. -
The Incredicoaster is based on the movies The Incredibles. The Incredicoaster replaced California Screamin' to make the park more modern, and fit the new Pixar theme. along with the Incredicoaster, Pixar Pier appeared. -
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened for Star Wars fans all around. The land features many places to dine and 1 attraction. You can see your favorite characters such as Rey, Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, and Stormtroopers. The whole land has beautifully themed architecture that fits the Star Wars theme very well. In my opinion, the bathrooms are the coolest. They blast music in there and have sinks that look like big tubs, haha. -
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance joins Galaxy's Edge making the land have 2 ride attractions. The ride is based off the First Order. The trackless ride has very spectacular sights inside. However, you do have to download the Disneyland Park app to try and join a boarding group. This ride is my favorite ride in all of Disneyland! -
Avenger's Campus was originally set to open in Summer 2020, but due to the pandemic it was set back a year. The land follows the theme of Avengers (from the movies and comic books!) Avenger's campus replaced Bug's land. Avenger's Campus opened with 1 new attraction, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, and 1 old attraction Guardians of the Galaxy:Mission Breakout. The land features shows with your favorite characters including Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Black Widow, and Spider-Man.
