Nation focus of Lindy and Michael and their behavior.
The nations focus turns to Lindy and Michael and their behavior after Azaria's death. Many rumors are made. Some stating that Azaria was dressed in black as a sacrifice.
Supposedly Azaria's 'doctor' stated that Azaria's name means sacrifice in the wilderness -
Baby Azarias death.
Baby Azaria only 2 months and 6 days was taken from her tent in Ularu by and dingo and killed.
Arund 8pm Azafia's cries was heard from the tent. Lindy went to check on her and saw a dingo near by holding a bundle. When she looked indide the tentAzaria was gone.
"My God, my God that dingo took my baby" Lindy screamed. -
Azaria's jumpsuit and singlet is found
A bird photographer, Wally Goodwin was with his family and were taking photoes at Ayers rock. They drove to the base of the rock when Wally's daughter screamed.When he caught up he saw a baby's jumpsuit at the base of a rock.
Wally did not take a photo of the jumpsuit in fear his camera would be confescated, when the police came they did not handle the jumpsuit in care nor take photoes whn they first saw it but after they had picked it up. Thats is when the rumor the jumpsuit was folded started. -
Denis Barrit believes that a dingo did take Azaria.
Denis Barritt, Alice springs Coronor, believes a dingo took Azaria but her body was instead disposed of by another person or people unknown. Ken Brown Forensic expert, asks for permission to do further tests on the jumpsuit. -
Chamberlains home is raided.
he chamberlains home is raided and belonings are taken from their home that could be evidence to Azaria's death. The police confescated 300 items out of which many of those items werent even taken to Uluru. Some of the following items were taken were Nail scizzors and clothing. -
Lindy was put into jail for the "murder" of baby Azaria
Lindy was put into jail for 3 years for the murder of baby Azaria. It was an unfair trial because of all of the "evidence" stating her as being guilty was not tested properly and the many statements from witnesses was shruged of and ignored. -
Petitioned signed for Lindy's release.
131,000 People signed a petition for the release of Lindy and for a judical inquiry in to Baby Azaria's case, got presented to the
Governor-General, Sir Ninian Stephen. -

The Nothern Territory announces that the death of Azaria will be relooked into. Lindy was released from jail. Lindy Chamberlain is released from prison. -

Azaria's case was declared by Coroner Lownde that the death could not be determined wether is was murder or a Dingo attack. -

Lindy was finnaly exonerated for the death of Baby Azaria.
Peace at last for Lindy Chamberlain
32 years after the death of baby Azaria, Lindy has now finally been freed from the thoughts of her murdering her own baby. It has now been proven that a Dingo has killed Azaria. As compensation, Lindy has been payed 1.3 million dollars, although the money will never reverse what Lindy and her baby has been through.
