  • Prelim Match-Cut Excercise before producing teen movie opening...

Camera: This was used to film the footage of the clips
Final Cut Pro: To make a sequence of the footage we used. Text was used as well as basic edits such as match cut. We did this to get familar with the technologies.
  • BAIT Tutorial

Digital Technology Used: Final Cut Pro (FCP) Ww were given different shots (close-ups, wide shots etc) of the same scene (of an old man stealing a little boy's sandwich), in order to show numerous ways of telling the same story.
  • Swede

    Digital Technology Used:
    - Camera : Practiced what we learnt; the different shot types, experienting with the angles etc.
    - Final Cut Pro: Allowed us to edit our footage and made sure that each clip flowed nicely, told a story.
    - Youtube: Uploading context and substracting sound/music This was done for our own personal pleasure but also to allow us to come to an understanding on what a specific audience (so those into swedes) expected to see (e.g. humour, storylines being exaggerated etc)

  • The Breakfast Club Remake

    Digitital Technologies:
    - Camera: Used to film our opening scene. We needed to replicate specific shot types to allow fans to recognise that this was indeed the remake of The Breakfast Club. For example, when the outcast got out of her car, a wide shot was used.
    - Final Cut Pro: This was used to edit our footage and allow the sequence to flow easily into different scenes.
Sound was essential here; the track of the movie was given to us, making it easy for us to link it back to the actual film.
  • Teen Movie Opening (to March 2014)

    Digital Technologies used:
Camera: To film all of our footage for our opening scene.
Final Cut Pro: To edit the footage, adding on cool edits and titles.
Soundcloud: For music or to use for a specific sound effect.
Motion : Used to create film idents which would have been seen in the beginning of the clip. These technologies all contributed to the making of the teen opening film.

  • The Lip Sync Tutorial

    Technologies used:
Final Cut Pro: We were given a piece of music that was from a band and different scenes from what appeared to be from a live concert. We needed to match the sound along with the clip.
  • Music Video (till Dec 2014)

    Technologies used:
Final Cut Pro: This was used to of course edit our music video, that being both the rough cut and the final piece.
Camera: Used to capture all the footage that was needed for the music video.
Social Networks (Twitter and Instagram): This allowed our teachers to keep up with our progression of the music video. Pictures of us filming would be found on the sites.
Wix: This was used to create my very own website for the artist.
    Blogger: Documented process and understandings.
  • Ancillary Productions (Digipak & Advert) (Jan 2015)

    Technologies Used:
Still Camera: A professional camera was used to take pictures of our artist for both the digipak and advert.
Photoshop: This was used to actually make the digipak and adverts. Text and fixing the image was done here (changing the colour, adding on font etc).
Google Images: Getting images, like getting real life album covers, to inspire our own work. This also helped us to get other images too for digipak too.
  • A2 Blog (Sep 2014 - Jan 2015)

    Technologies Used:
Blogger: This was used to document the process of the whole project. Allowed us to express our understandings as well as ideas.
Youtube: Videos were mainly used fr inspiration during the process of the project.
MakeAGif: This was used to make my own GIFs with clips (own or Youtube)
Animoto: A sildeshow-like software that helped to present both videos and photos.
Emaze: This helped to show off my ideas, in a more nice, uplifting funky style!
