    A 16 day open season was rejected by the CDCAC due to conflicting regulations. The antlersless season would have ran through the entire deer season until January. Private property owners expressed issues on the land hunters would be using during the extension.

    A new law passes to allow stands overnight on state lands north of Highway 64. Hunters do not understand new paper tag rules, causing a rise of unlicensed hunters. CWD is brought to attention.

    New motion passes to limit hunters in some state parks across the state. Limit has been set to 15 people. A ban was placed on the sale of deer scents, dips and licks in Wisconsin. Game farms that produce these items are linked to spreading CWD nationwide.
