In 1976, David Bloor created a book known as "Knowledge and Social Imagery", which highlighted science's correlation to sociology. John Desmond Bernal Prize
In 1996, David Bloor was awarded the John Desmond Bernal Prize, which is given to scholars that have made a distinguished contribution to the field of Science and Technology studies, which still holds true till this day. He is still with us and is currently residing in Cambridge, reading and researching about experimental psychology.
