    Thanks to his 2006 "Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon" and a discussion between himself and Christian philosopher Alvin Plantinga, Dennett entered the public eye as one of the “the Four Horsemen of the Counter-Apocalypse”( a term coined by Christopher Hitchens to include himself, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, and Dennett).
