Daniel Dennett discuses the impossibility to truly know what is going on in someone else's mind. His theories are not limited to humans, but animals as well. Should We Study Religion?
In Dennetts 2006 novel "Breaking the Spell", he raises the question, "Should we study religion"? Many scientist over the period of history have argued the need to further study religion to gain answers for unexplained events. Dennett believes that such unexplained events are not an act of God, but simply require more scientific inquiry that may be beyond our current capability.
