Ron Kirk was the first African American Mayor of Dallas. He is now President Obamas Senior official in charge of trade ploicy.

Steve Bartlet was elected to the nonpartisan postition as mayor of Dallas. Mayor Bartlett did some amazing things for Dallas such as reducing the viloence in the downdown area. He is now known as the $2 Million Man.
