CUW has broke ground on a new building to house the Batterman School of Business after the project was delayed and scaled back earlier this year.

CUW President Patrick Ferry unveils plans to construct a 50,000 sq. foot business building. They estimate the cost to be between 12 and 15 million dollars. CUW does not yet have a solidified blueprint or location for the building.

CUW announces specific plans for the new business building. The plans call for an an 85,311-square-foot, four story building, greatly expanding from the 50,000-square-foot plan released in 2013. CUW did not release an exact cost estimate, but it is estimated to be similar to the $24 million dollar building Carrol University opened in September of 2016.

CUW President Patrick Ferry announces new scaled-back plans for a new scaled-back version of the Free Enterprise Center. The new model is a three-story, 40,716 sq. foot model that is estimated to cost $12-15 million.

The scaled-back building plans were accepted by the Mequon Planning Commission, and therefore cleared to begin construction.

Once again, faculty and students gathered at the sight of the future Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center to celebrate the building's groundbreaking. The building is set to open in the Fall of 2019.
