    Delegates meet again in PA. Since the red coats are invading Bopston they decide they needed to put toegther an army to fight the Britsh military just in case. They put George Washington in charge of this army.

    This was a direct appeal to King George III. The colonist were trying to resolve their problems peacefully by sending him this appeal. In other words offer him and olive brance of peace so they could avoid war.
