    The Corvette

  • The debut

    The corvette would debut in 1953 where it was the first american sports car of its design and it would go on to be a very be manufactured but only 300 units had been produced at the time.
  • Corvette booms

    The year 1954 one year after the iconic debut of the C1 corvette. The want for this piece of american sports car expands and so does production the car. This resulted in 3,600 cars to be produced. This increase production also added some new things to the car including variety of colors and increase engine boost.
  • C2 Corvette

    The C2 model of the corvette would debut in 1962 production would not end of this car until 1967. The car would be known as the Corvette Stingray and it would improve from its original design in every way from the engine and handling to design and color.
  • The C3 corvette

    The C3 corvette was up next this generation was described as a marriage of new things the car brought and some things from the previous generation that had carried over. However the things you could do were great with this car you had plenty of engine options which offered significantly varied horse power options.
  • The C3 evolves

    The C3 in the 1970's would get a mid-year change which focused on the cosmetic side of the car this would see lots of support because the cars downfalls were primarily cosmetic.
  • The C4

    This car would change a lot about the corvette it had looked like a whole new car not just on the outside but inside it as well. The new design was a success seeing the sales double as a result of design change.
  • C4 power change

    The mid generation change of the car would bring way more power to the vehicle it would push 230 horsepower and 330 foot pounds of torque making it one of the fastest cars of its time.
  • The ZR1

    This was the result of corvette wanting to create one of the fastest cars in the world and they achieved it with this car this car would break the 24 hour 5,000 mile land speed record hitting 175 mph the cars price was increased but the vehicle was still bought even for over the priced ZR1's.
  • The C5 corvette

    This model would run from 1997 to 2004 it was a very good car to be the most advanced corvette to date as well as the car being the corvettes first daily derivable corvette which many enjoyed.
  • Z06

    This would be the premium performance version of the C5 the name would come from the C2 performance variant called the Z06 that was introduced in the 1960's but this new vehicle was better in every way with the reduced weight and vehicle modifications the car could make around 400 horse power and 400 foot pounds of torque.
  • The C6 corvette

    This car had one main goal in mind to make the care smaller and more space efficient but they wanted it to resemble the previous generations as well. They accomplished this mission building on the detail of the car and also transforming it into something new.
  • C6 ZR1

    Just like the last corvette there would be a high performance version of the vehicle and they were still able to push out even higher performance vehicles. This car would add a supercharger that helped put the vehicle push 600 horse power and almost 650 foot pounds of torque.
  • C7 corvette

    Released in 2013 to 2019 the car this is said to be the last front engine corvette due to the changes that came with the C8. The car would add more muscle with the shape and lines of the C7 it looked very aggressive. However many corvette fans were disappointed with the styling of the car.
  • C8 corvette

    This model would introduce a new type of corvette with the new mid engine change moving the engine from the front to the middle of the vehicle behind the passenger. The mid engine design will allow the vehicle to maintain traction and produce more power to the rear wheels.
  • The Z51

    This is the high performance package of the car and the most up to date version of the corvette is the Z51 the last model made up to date. This was the evolution of the corvette and how it has changed and made differences over the years.
