    Adolf Fick was born in 1852. He died in 1937. He was born in Germany, but he lived in South Africa and Switzerland. Adolf Fick married Marie Wislicenus in 1886. He worked as an ophthalmologist, he was an eye doctor. He was soldier and doctor in World War 1. Adolf Fick improved contact lenses in 1887, because he lived to solve problems.
