In 1215 nobles reblled against King John. He treated them harshly.The king was forced to sign an agrement which was the Magna Carta. That agreement protected the nobles privileges,and authority,and it also grnted or allowed certain rights to all land Holders.Everyone was going to be treated equally. The King or The Queen wouldnt be aboe the law. -
