The project was executed by project volunteers on behalf of the donor Ellen Degeneres. The project is unique as this is a one-of-a kind facility for the conservation of mountain gorillas. It is temporary given the completion is December 2020.The outcome was an educational institute providing teaching for the locals and ongoing study capability to preserve these endangered species.
