Shays rebellion in ways shown the US something. That the A of C hadso much weakneses that we almost got another revolution. The farmers had their farms and got thrown in jail because of it. -
First Meeting of Constitutional Convention
With the first C.C under way there was a lot of heat. Rhode Island did not send any delagates suprisingly. It made to later that the US had to force them to sign it. -
Great comprimise
In the heated signing of the constitution there were 2 plans. The V. plan and the N.J plan. It took a long time to decide but they came to a bicameral congress. An lower house in which the # of reps. are deturmined by population. A higher house in which every state has equal representation. -
Delaware singed Constitution
Delaware even though the smallest state in the whole union was the first to sign. The Delaware delagates were so behaved and agreed to almost every thing the framers had to say. No wonder they were the first to sign. -
Pennslvania singed the Constitution
Pennslvania the second to sign was not as good and jolly as Delaware. As Penn. came into the picture there were still anti-feds. With a vote of 46-23 Penn. singed the constitution. -
New Hampshure singed Constitution
New Hampshure was very unfortunate in delagates. They realized that they had mostly people who did not favor it. In a close call a 56-51 vote. -

The nations first president G.Washington. He worked hard to set an example by leading his country with pride, dignity and reason not with money like Romney. -
Constitution finally ratifyed
With R.I finally signing the Constition in May 1790 it finally was put into play. R.I was still stubborn as ever but they are growing to accept it. -
Rhode Island singed Constitution
With the convention coming to a close R.I still refused to send anyone or start a convention. The US in a desprate effort sent a message which basically said join or die. With a vote of 34-32 RI singned it last. -
Bill of Rights finally ratifyed
With the people of the states in chaos they needed something to even start a constitution. A bill of rights was never ratifyed until Dec.15 1791 in comp. to the Const.
