Release of Super Smash Bros Ultimate
This game is the newest installment to the Super Smash Bros franchise and used the new technologies of the Nintendo Switch to bring into the franchise. This game had a huge impact on my friend group, who in 2018 only played this game, so when this new updated version came out, it was the biggest event in our lives at that point.

Release of Disney +
The release of Disney plus introduced the next era of entertainment streaming, from an era in the 2010s were everything you could image was on Netflix and Hulu to an era in the 2020s were everything was categorized by who made it and paid for each creators work (Disney, NBCUniversal, Netflix, Paramount/CBS, Amazon etc.).
