    Last lesson we looked at a upside down waterfall diagram and wrote about the evolution of cloud computing.
    The evolution topics included: distributed computing, mainframe computing, cluster computing, grid computing, virtualization, web 2.0, service orientation, utility computing and finally cloud computing.

    In todays lesson we talked about why businesses would want to use cloud services and researched what SaaS, PaaS and IaaS was and how they influence cloud. We also learnt about virtualization in cloud and discussed how it is used and what the pros and cons were.

    In todays lesson we carried on with the packet tracer build and added IP addresses to each pc and router making it so that we could ping between each PC. We also did 3 activities that outlines what PuTTY, Hyperterminal and Teraterm are.
  • This Lesson Update

    In todays lesson we looked at the cloud and collaboration module 1 labs and completed the question at the end of each one. I managed to finish module 1 and am now moving on to module 2.
