Attack on Fort Sumter
President Lincoln planned to send supplies to the fort because they were running out of supplies and if they did they would of lost the fort to the Confederates. Robert Anderson was asked to surrender by P.G.T. Beauregard and if they didnt they would open fire. John Wilkes Booth
John Wilkes Booth killed the president and then jumped off the presidents box onto the stage and broke his leg and ran off.
