    The Brown V B.O.E started off by one little african american girl who couldn't go to a school that was a few blocks down, but instead had to go that was about 3 miles down. Because of this the B.O.E decided to bring this up to the supreme court. The result was intergrated schools.

    It all started of with Rosa Parks and her decision to not give a seat to a white person. That led to many people contributing to the boycott. To conclude it many others contributed to integrating busses.

    Southern Christan Leadership Conference was an African American that supported non-violent protests. Some examples would be the Montgomery Bus Boycott and the Albany Movement.

    The SNCC was an organization that gave young growing college students a more growing voice. They were allowed a large voice that helped a ton during the civil rights movement. They played a huge part in sit-ins and in freedom rides.

    The Albany Movement, in MLK's opinon, was a huge failure. Although he did learn many ideas he failed to completely desegregate Albany,Georgia which was his goal.

    This is the place where MLK deliverd his famous "I have a dream" speech. The March On Washington led to Johnson signing the Civil Rights Act.

    The Civil Rights Act ended public segregation and officialy prohibited employment discrimation. Although it wasn't the greatest it was a good start to a new and equal America.

    The Assasination of Martin Luther King Jr.
    Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated at end of the Memphis Sanitation Strike. He was assassinated by James Earl Ray because he didn't approve of America being equal, and still wanted white supremacy.
