Nine black kids went to an all-white school. Minnijean Brown, Elizabeth Eckford, Ernest Green, Thelma Mothershed, Melba Patillo, Gloria Ray, Terrence Roberts, Jefferson Thomas and Carlotta Walls were all the kids who went to the school. They wanted the kids to get an equal education. Most parents didnt send their kids to school for that reason -
